Feldspar

Feldspar is primarily categorized into potassium feldspar and sodium feldspar. Potassium feldspar often appears light yellow and is used in the ceramic industry to lower firing temperatures while improving the mechanical strength and chemical stability of the ceramic body. Sodium feldspar, which is mostly white, is commonly employed in rapidly fired ceramic bodies and glazes, helping to enhance the transparency and gloss of ceramic products.
