Sodium Fluorosilicate

Sodium fluorosilicate (Na₂SiF₆) is applied in the following aspects: ① Flux function: It reduces the melting temperature of glazes, promoting fusion at lower temperatures, thereby improving the smoothness and gloss of the glaze surface. ② Enhancing glaze performance: Ceramic glazes containing sodium fluorosilicate exhibit higher hardness and stronger stain resistance, while reducing the risk of deformation during the firing process. ③ Extending service life: By optimizing glaze formulations, it enhances the durability of ceramic products and minimizes surface damage caused by chemical corrosion.
