Molybdenum Oxide

Molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) is a white or light greenish-yellow powder. In ceramics or glass, it can provide special pigments such as molybdenum red and molybdenum yellow; it participates in industrial catalysis and the production of flame retardants and smoke suppressants; it can also be used for metal surface treatment to enhance the adhesion of anti-corrosion coatings; and it serves as an energy storage material, specifically as a doping agent for lithium battery anodes.
