Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate

Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate (Na₂SiO₃) is typically a white powder used in the production of ceramics, glass, glazes, and ceramic bodies. As a highly efficient deflocculant, it significantly reduces slurry viscosity. It also acts as a low-temperature fluxing agent, reducing energy consumption by over 10%. Additionally, it serves as a strong alkaline stabilizer to adjust the pH of glaze slurries and as a body enhancer to improve the mechanical strength of green bodies, thereby reducing processing breakage rates.
