Neodymium Oxide

Neodymium oxide (Nd₂O₃) is a light purple powder. As a critical rare earth raw material, it serves diverse functions in the chemical industry. It can be used as a high-performance catalyst in petroleum cracking, as an optical material to impart a pale violet fluorescence to glass while enhancing its transparency, or to create unique colors in ceramic glazes. It is also employed in the production of permanent magnets and participates in the manufacturing of specialty glass and ceramics.
