Sodium Humate
① Enhanced Green Body Strength: The addition of sodium humate increases the flexural strength of unfired ceramic bodies, reducing the risk of damage during transportation. ② Reduced Firing Energy Consumption: Its fluxing effect shortens firing time, lowers kiln temperature, and reduces fuel costs. ③ Improved Glaze Quality: The dispersing property of sodium humate minimizes bubble formation in glazes, enhancing the smoothness of finished products. ④ Increased Plasticity: It improves the plasticity of clay bodies, making them easier to shape, reducing cracking in semi-finished products, and facilitating mechanized production. ⑤ Enhanced Slurry Fluidity: As a deflocculant, sodium humate shortens ball milling time and increases the fluidity of clay and glaze slurries. ⑥ Improved Adsorption Capacity: It enhances the adsorption of glaze onto the ceramic body, reducing defects such as peeling, pinholes, line breaks, insufficient glaze, and glaze shrinkage, thereby improving the aesthetic quality of ceramic products.
