Zinc Oxide
Zinc oxide is an important inorganic compound with the chemical formula ZnO. Due to its unique semiconductor, photocatalytic, antibacterial, and UV-blocking properties, it is widely used in fields such as rubber, ceramics, coatings, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. Based on production processes, zinc oxide is categorized into direct-process zinc oxide, indirect-process zinc oxide, and calcined zinc oxide. Direct-process zinc oxide has coarse particle size (1-10 μm), a purity of 99%-99.5%, and low production costs. Indirect-process zinc oxide features fine particle size (0.1-1 μm), a purity of ≥99.7%, and high reactivity.
